On arrival at Bujumbura airport, meet and greet by our driver/guide and enjoy a Bujumbura city tour visiting: • Rusizi National Park where a boat trip is possible to explore closer the hippos and birds in Rusizi River; • Independence Hero Mausoleum; • Albert’s crocodiles; • La Pierre Livingstone et Stanley ; • Belvedere Hill which offers a panoramic view of the city; Overnight at Safari Gate Hotel
After early breakfast at 7:00 A.M, transfer to Mount Heha, the Burundi highest mountain for hiking. Afterward, drive to Rutana and climb the 4 amazing waterfalls In Karera. We continue to the hike to Nyakazu Gorge with an impressive structure and historical prestige before transfer to Gitega for overnight at Tropitel Hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Gishora Drum sanctuary for a drum performance at Gishora hill before visiting Teza tea plantations for a nature walk. Overnight at Safari Gate Hotel.
